This course is designed for artists who have 100 hours or 1-year experience working in permanent makeup, medical micropigmentation or body art tattooing. Join us in our comprehensive 3-day areola course to launch your career in medical micropigmentation or take a refresher course to continue your education and level up your technical skills in areola tattooing. Explore the art of crafting natural-looking, hyper-realistic nipple-areolar complex using machine permanent cosmetic tattooing techniques. This class includes (2) days of theory, practical, and machine techniques training, culminating in (1) final day of hands-on training with live models over 3 days.
Using a machine device, you’ll master the delicate art of tattooing 3-d areola tattoos, ensuring a subtle, natural appearance that evolves beautifully over time. Our expert instructors will guide you through proper techniques to perform procedures with efficiency and safety, covering essential topics such as nipple-areolar complex mapping, color theory, pigment selection, skin types, needle types, numbing procedures. Additionally, you’ll gain invaluable insights into pre- and post-care practices, effective client consultations, and consent paperwork. Machine, pigments, needles, anesthetics, disposables for use during class are provided.
Purchase an Additional Day
After completing 3 days of theory, practical, machine and manual techniques, and hands-on training with live models, students have the option to purchase an additional day (the 4th day) dedicated to live models. This session is scheduled 8 weeks after your initial hands-on training, providing an opportunity to refine your skills during the model’s touch-up session.
Please note:
1) Proof of Bloodborne Pathogen and CPR certification is required prior to the start of the class, ensuring a safe and hygienic learning environment for trainers, students and models. If you’re a beginner looking to expand your skill set, this class offers the perfect foundation for success in the world of permanent makeup.
2) The additional day (the 4th day) for the student’s live models’ 8-week touch-up session is not included in the price of the 3-Day Areola course.
3) Students are encouraged to bring their own models. We may assist students in locating models, however, there is an additional model fee.
ADDITIONAL FEES:
1) Additional day (4th day) is dedicated to live models for an 8-week touch-up session. The fee for one additional day is $1,500.
2) Model fee is $900 per model.
