Lips have their own considerations involving design, natural lip color, pigment selection, tissue, technique and healing.
That’s why Lip Fundamentals is taught as its own specialty.

Anna Burns studied at ArtCenter College of Design and worked professionally in animation, including experience with Disney, Columbia TriStar Television and Warner Bros.
For more than a decade, she has applied that artistic foundation to permanent makeup.
But permanent makeup requires more than an artistic eye.
Anna has worked with clients across a wide range of ages, Fitzpatrick skin types and skin characteristics—including oily and dry skin, thick and thin skin, mature and wrinkled skin, and scarred or otherwise altered tissue.
That experience informs how Anna teaches students to look beyond the technique itself and assess the individual client—including skin characteristics, tissue, health history, medications, contraindications, healing and factors that may affect pigment retention.
Students learn to assess first, then make informed decisions about design, pigment and technique.
SMALL-FORMAT, HANDS-ON TRAINING
Training is intentionally kept small so Anna can closely observe your work and provide direct correction as you develop your technique.
Anna can observe and correct:

Because understanding a technique and knowing how to approach different clients are two different things.

WHERE IS TRAINING HELD?
Training is available at Anna Burns Permanent Cosmetics in Sandy Springs / Atlanta, Georgia.
Anna can also travel to a student’s facility for training. Students choosing this option are responsible for Anna’s round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and rental car.

During Fundamentals, you’ll have the opportunity to perform your selected technique on a qualified live model under Anna’s direct supervision.
Anna observes, guides and corrects as you apply what you’ve practiced to real skin.

Anna Burns Permanent Cosmetics can recruit, screen and coordinate a qualified model for your scheduled training.
LIVE MODEL RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT — $900
The $900 fee applies only if ABPC successfully secures a qualified model for your training.
Model placement cannot be guaranteed because models must meet eligibility requirements and be available for your scheduled training date.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your training and is applied toward tuition.
Remaining tuition balance: $3,250.

PayPal Credit may be available for eligible training payments, subject to PayPal approval and terms.
PayPal Credit is third-party financing and is not a payment plan offered by Anna Burns Permanent Cosmetics.
Use of PayPal Credit does not change Anna Burns Permanent Cosmetics’ tuition, retainer, cancellation, refund or payment terms.
LICENSING & REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
Permanent makeup licensing, permitting, training and other regulatory requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction.
Students are responsible for determining and completing the licensing, permitting, testing and other requirements that apply where they intend to practice.
Completion of an Anna Burns Permanent Cosmetics training program and receipt of a certificate do not, by themselves, guarantee eligibility to practice permanent makeup in a particular jurisdiction.

1-DAY PMU INTRODUCTION — $1,500
For someone seriously considering permanent makeup but not ready to commit before experiencing the work and Anna’s teaching style.
Receive introductory PMU education, guided hands-on practice and direct instruction.
NO LIVE-MODEL PROCEDURE
This is an introduction—not a condensed Fundamentals course.
DECIDE TO CONTINUE?
If you enroll in a qualifying 6-Day PMU Fundamentals program within 60 calendar days of completing the Introduction, the full $1,500 you already paid is applied toward the $6,500 Fundamentals tuition.
You will still pay the full $3,250 non-refundable Fundamentals retainer when you enroll.

Your $1,500 Introduction payment is credited toward the total tuition but does not replace, satisfy or reduce the required $3,250 non-refundable Fundamentals retainer.
You do not pay the $1,500 Introduction fee in addition to the $6,500 tuition. When the credit is used, your original $1,500 payment becomes part of the $6,500 total.
The credit is nontransferable, may be applied once and must be used toward qualifying Fundamentals enrollment within 60 calendar days of completing the Introduction.

Student models receive a permanent makeup procedure performed by a student under Anna Burns’ supervision during hands-on training.
STUDENT MODEL SUPPLIES FEE — $100

Because students may have the opportunity to return approximately 6–8 weeks later for a Healed Results + Touch-Up Practicum, preference may be given to models who are willing and available to return.
